Lucca Comics & Games is the most important fair in Italy and Europe dedicated to comics, animation, board and role-playing games, and the fantasy world. It takes place every year in Lucca over four days, usually between the end of October and the beginning of November.

The most prominent industry players – publishers, specialists, retailers, and comic shops – take part in the trade show, which covers an exhibition area of about 15,000 square meters spread throughout Lucca’s historic center. The event features numerous special activities: meetings with Italian and international authors, book presentations, role-playing tournaments, cosplay shows, concerts, and much more.

Each year, special exhibitions dedicated to world-renowned artists are organized and hosted in the city’s palaces and museums. The Comics area focuses on comics and animation, while the Games area is devoted to games (role-playing, board, and card games), with exhibitors from the gaming world, including game authors and publishers, specialized stores, and associations.

The theme chosen for the 2025 edition is “French Kiss”, a tribute to France, the homeland of the bande dessinée, celebrating something that is French in name but universal in spirit – the “French kiss.”

Lucca Comics & Games will take place from October 29 to November 2.
