Family Floriddia does not only cultivate ancient organic grain varieties, it also mills them in the company-own stone mill and processes them into outstanding, wheat-germ containing pasta doughs that are pulled through bronze. We bake bread and focaccia (a flatbread made of leavened dough) twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, which we sell in our company-own BIO SHOP while still warm. Fridays we produce almond, oat, wine and chocolate biscuits. You will find the following in the BIO SHOP: flour, semolina, oats, spelt, noodles, biscuits, jams, pesto sauce, crafted beer and other delicacies.

The Monday pizza (free in the first week), which can be enjoyed in the peace and quiet of the garden belonging to our apartments, a welcome hamper containing pasta, biscuits, wine and other products, the possibility of taking a look at the mill and the pasta manufactory, where you can see how we manufacture organic flour and pasta of outstanding quality.
Relaxation, hikes, swimming pool as well as warm pizza and warm bread twice a week.
FLAVOUR and HEALTH
Sourdough bread, pizza “in teglia” (literally, “on a baking sheet”), focaccia with rosemary, and breakfast biscuits are baked in a wood-fired oven.
Everything is manufactured with our stone-ground organic flour in our company-own mill. For connoisseurs of organic pasta dough, we produce ancient wheat dough with wheat germ directly in the new pasta manufactory, which is a culinary delight for the taste buds and also suited for people suffering from food intolerances.
ACTIVITIES and SERVICES
Excursions along the Alta Valdera trails, following selected routes; mountain bike tours, sight-seeing tours of the mill and pasta manufacture, swimming and hydro-massage in the swimming pool, thermal spas in Casciana, which is located close-by, theatre in Volterra and Lajatico, and plenty more.
Free Wi-Fi, complete laundry exchange every week, cleaning during the week upon request, the company-own shop, which sells organic products exclusively from regional provenance and is open daily except Sundays, a welcome basket with our products, guided tours in the mill and pasta manufacture. Outdoor games, “animal” experiences with cats, chickens, donkeys and pony, football and volleyball.
